Many thanks to everyone who supported the LoveWeston Library fundraising raffle held at the Old Crown quiz night on 29th March, 2023. The pub was buzzing and the raffle added extra excitement, with many great prizes to be won. We raised a whopping £700.
Special thanks go to Daniel, Landlord of the Old Crown, for supporting our raffle and allowing us to hold the prize draw on his fantastic quiz night. Nat, the quizmaster had even devised some literary-themed questions which were much appreciated by the bookworms amongst us. Many thanks also to local businesses and volunteers for the generous donation of prizes. And of course, thanks to the Weston community for the enthusiastic buying of raffle tickets!
We really appreciate the support shown towards our library, which is a community-run organisation, staffed by local volunteers. We need to raise funds to pay the ongoing running costs of the premises, so please continue to support us by looking out for our future fundraising events. Help us to keep this important community facility going for future generations of library users.
